Call for Entries 11th ICMA for Logos and Graphic Design
Last chance for 2020: Participation until 23.59 on 20 October.
Entries must have been in our hands by then.
The ICMA for Logos and Graphic Design has these subcategories:

Entries will be submitted via the upload center. Email or wetransfer are also an option.
How to participate in the ICMA for Logos and Graphic Design
Submissions in this category may only be submitted as Pdf. All submissions must be in English. Use the Upload Center for sending.
3.1. Logo NEW
Create landscape pages, DIN A 4 format. One page per logo. Place an application example on a second sheet. The logo must be in use. Drafts are not permitted.
Center: The new logo.
Bottom left:
Explanation of the logo in English language. Maximum text length 550 letters including spaces between words. At the end, write the year in which the logo was designed.
Bottom right:
– Company name or name of the person submitting the logo.
– Name of contact person
– Street and house number
– Postcode and city
– COUNTRY
– E-mail
The jury shall receive an example of the use of the logo. This could be a letterhead or a business card for example. Please include the example in the same design as the logo, including the address. Brief description only if you consider it necessary. Above is an example.
3.2. Logo REDESIGN
Centre: On the left the old logo, on the right the new one.
Bottom left:

3.3. Animated logos and 3.4. Sound logos
Send files that show the animation or sound. You can also include links to applications of the logo.
3.5. Identities
Envelopes, letterheads, invoice sheets, business cards, etc. – these are the classics of corporate communication that are evaluated here. A single participation fee will be charged for each business kit, regardless of the number of examples submitted. A minimum of three and a maximum of 20 examples for the use of the corporate design are permitted.

The home page in the Identities category is in the same style as in the Logo category. The pages are created in DIN A4 landscape format.

Inside pages of submissions in the corporate design category:
Add explanations only when you feel it is necessary. The address at the bottom right of each page. A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 20 pages are allowed. Leave enough space between the examples. Do not place too many examples on one page.

3.6. Packaging
The submission should be similar in style to the submissions in category 3.1. On the first page the packaging is shown and on other pages there are further examples of packaging design.
3.7. Poster
Send a Pdf of the poster. An explanation in English with your address can be attached in a Word file.
Subcategories: As we have the category posters for the first time, there is no subdivision into subcategories yet. The jury will possibly make a division into photography, illustration, typography, etc. A subdivision into exhibition, sport, politics etc. is also possible. You can make a suggestion for the category when you submit your entry.
Poster series: There are not only single posters, but also series, where a common style runs through all posters. Series are considered as one submission. Accordingly, one single fee is charged and not several.

Please put all your submissions in one folder, zip it and submit it via the upload center.

– Late submissions: Entries submitted between October 2 and 10 will be charged a 20 percent higher fee.

In order to write an invoice, we need the number of submissions and your company address.
Participants from the European Union: We need the VAT number of your company, because it has to be mentioned on the invoice. If you do not have a VAT number, please indicate it. It’s no problem.
Once you have requested an invoice, you will normally receive an invoice by e-mail within 24 hours.
Then pay the amount within 14 days. At www.icma-award.com you can pay by Paypal or credit card.

Competition period:
Works can be submitted that were created between 1 January 2019 and 20 October 2020.
Start of the submission phase:
1 September, 2020
Closing date:
1 October, 2020
Deadline for late entries:
Until October 20, 2020: For submissions between October 2 and October 20, 2020, an additional fee of 20 percent will be charged.
November 30, 2020:
The list of winners will be posted on the website www.icma-award.com around November 30.
Until December 15, 2020:
All participants will receive an individual email notification of their results.
January 31, 2021:
The certificates will be sent by email. Award trophies can be ordered for an additional fee. These are produced individually.
