The colour tone runs through the article, because parts of the text are also coloured yellow. Very good font selection, very good page layout.”
e x, Hochschule Augsburg, D, Silver Award 8. ICMA
Category 4.9. Typography · Layout
The “e x Magazin” is developed and produced by students of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Under the magazine’s motto “Think Big”, nine former students are portrayed at their places of work. The magazine has a very clear layout and uses a minimum of stylistic elements: Pastel shades, full-page pictures, left-justified texts, which are generously laid out. The makers allow themselves a single “gag” – a deviation from the purist style: the page numbers are very large and they are cut off at the bottom.

Is it possible to characterise a person on the basis of what is in his sea chest?
