This article gives an overview of current book trends observed at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2019. It is a subjective selection in which attention was paid to innovative ideas and good design. The sorting is based on the categories of the ICMA Award for Books. There is no text, only illustrations of books, calendars and non-books that caught the author's eye during his 12.18 km tour on 16 and 17 October 2019.
